Description
The front designed as a graduated series of navette-shaped links pierced and millegrain-set with circular-, single- and rose-cut diamonds, interspersed with pearls, the centre suspending a cultured pearl, later alteration, to a back of baton and collet links similarly set, length approximately 440mm, indistinctly signed Cartier, Paris, Londres, French assay marks.
Condition
French assay marks for platinum, indistinctly signed Cartier, Paris, Londres. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.50 - 7.50 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. Pearls of various sizes and shapes, medium lustre on average, subtle rosé overtones. Cultured pearl later added to hinged fitting. Original pendant deficient. Well articulated. Secure clasp, safety catch to one side. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
