Description
The rectangular case decorated with opalescent pink and blue guilloché enamel, applied with carved coral flower heads, highlighted with rose-cut diamond centres, leaves between millegrain-set lines, opening to reveal a mirrored interior with two compartments, measurements approximately 90mm x 57mm x 10mm, signed Boucheron Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Stamped 585 for 14 carat gold. Signed Boucheron Paris. Numbered 1055 to inside of compartment lid. Weighing approximately 192.6 grams. Losses to enamel on corner, two areas look like they have been restored. Coral with typical banding visible with magnification, one cracked, forth from left has been repaired or with possibly traces of glue only visible with magnification. Diamonds bright and lively, two small rose-cut diamonds deficient. Slight tarnish to interior, scratches. Thumbpiece with nicks possibly synthetic. In good condition.
