Description

The foliate scrolled top chased and set with calibré-cut amethyst, buff-top opals and highlighted with circular- and rose-cut diamonds, to a curved blonde tortoiseshell hair comb, signed G.Fouquet, fitted case G.FOUQUET, PARIS.

Condition

If you are interested in this lot please contact the Jewellery Department before bidding. Probably mounted in silver and gold. Opals well matched with typical play-of-colour. Diamonds bright and lively. One amethyst slightly chipped. Light scratches to comb consistent with age and wear. Chip to reverse of comb near to screw fitting, not visible when worn.
