  • diameter 37 mm
• jeweled manual-winding gilt lever movement, bi-metallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two hammers • gilt guilloché dial, radial Roman numerals to the matte chapter ring, subsidiary dials for dat and month combined with leap year indication, sector for retrograde date indication, fan-form aperture for ages and phases of the moon • 18k yellow gold case, foliate chasing to the bezel and lugs, slide-repeat to the band, sapphire crystal display back • dial signed

Condition

The movement is running, however it might require service soon. The repeat is one hour our of phase and will need to be serviced. The dial is nice and clean with some very minor spots to the silvered ring (only visible under a loupe). The case shows general wear with light surface scuffs throughout. Overall this is a nice watch and very interesting. The strap of this watch contains endangered species; please refer to Important Notices for further information.

Svend Andersen developed his watchmaking skills while working with fine timepieces at the firms of Patek Philippe and Gübelin. After almost a decade at the 'Atelier de Complications' at Patek Philippe, Andersen opened his own workshop in in 1979. Since then, his work has set high standards and broken records within the horological field. Among his accomplishments are the creation of smallest perpetual calendar wristwatch, at only 32 millimeters, as well as the completion of more than one hundred unique pieces suited to his clients' specifications.
