Designed by Louis Cartier in 1912, the Tortue is among Cartier's most recognized shapes. This model, a classic single button chronograph, is based on Cartier's first chronograph wristwatch, launched in 1928. In the late 1990s, the firm re-launched the model in the Collection Privée line of watches.
