Canvas is relined. Overall, the painting is in good condition with a few minor retouchings present through U.V. light. Areas of hair and drapery in particular show small repairs through U.V. Painting is covered in a hazy varnish which makes any repairs underneath extremely difficult to see. Despite this, canvas seems to retain much of its original paint in the drapery. Areas in the background have thinned somewhat, most visibly in the hair. In a carved and giltwood frame.
