Description

The oval yellow sapphire weighing 9.72 carats, square modified brilliant-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.80 carats, mounted in platinum, size 6 1/2.

Condition

Very good condition. Accompanied by GIA report no. 2105502980 stating that the yellow sapphire is natural, no indictations of heating. The pavilion to the medium-light yellow sapphire is facted in a "checkerboard" style. Slightly wavy girdle, small chips on two sides of the girdle, moderate "windowing" at the center. Small eye-visible inclusions but not readily apparently. The band set on the shoulders with 36 square modified brilliant-cut diamonds, approximately H-I color, VS clarity.
