Description

Rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 5.30 carats, mounted in gold and silver, length 16 inches, one diamond missing.  With fitted box.

Condition

Good condition. Glue residue surrounding the collets to the demantoid garnets seen under close inspection (the moonstone flowerheads were drilled and later filled with glue) . Of antique inspiration but of modern manufacture. The moonstones present strong blue, violet and green adularescence. The demantoid garnets are a lively yellowish green. The 696 rose-cut diamonds are near colorless and decorative in quality.
