Cultured pearl and diamond necklace

Composed of 5 strands of cultured pearls measuring approximately 7.5 to 7.0 mm., decorated at the sides with 2 segments of scroll motif set with round diamonds weighing approximately 8.30 carats, completed by a bar clasp set with round diamonds, mounted in platinum, length of strands 17 to 21 inches.

Very good condition; the cultured pearls are well matched with a good luster and little or no pitting. The color is less creamy; more white than illustration. Diamonds are overall H-II color adn VS-SI clarity. Please note the strand has become detached in two places; the piece will repair for the purchaser by Sotheby's.
