Description
The sugarloaf cabochon sapphire weighing 15.63 carats, framed by numerous pavé-set round sapphires weighing approximately 8.85 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened white gold, size 6¾.
Condition
See AGTA report stating the large sapphire is natural, no indications of heating. The center sugarloaf cabochon sapphire is a medium slightly watery violet-blue color and is slightly to moderately included. The additional round sapphires on the mounting are more steely blue than the center stone and are slightly to moderately included. Sapphires are set throughout the mounting, therefore the ring cannot be sized. In very good condition.
