Description

The first strung with 65 pearls measuring approximately 9.7 to 5.1 mm., spaced by seed pearls, completed by a lozenge-shaped clasp set with calibré-cut emeralds and single-cut diamonds, length 22 inches; the second strung with 60 pearls measuring approximately 8.1 to 4.5 mm., completed by a navette-shaped clasp set with a marquise-shaped diamond framed by small rose-cut diamonds, length 16½ inches; the third strung with 91 pearls measuring approximately 4.1 by 3.9 mm. to 2.9 by 2.7 mm., supporting a pearl drop measuring approximately 10.2 mm., capped by small rose-cut diamonds and suspended from a fringe of single-cut and old European-cut diamonds, length 16 inches.

Condition

All three necklaces in good general condition. EMERALD CLASP: Accompanied by report no. 17453655 stating the 65 pearls are natural saltwater; the seed pearls were not tested. The round to off-round, cream-colored pearls are more yellow-peach and less pink than indicated by the catalogue illustration. Generally good luster with varying degrees of rose, purple and green overtones; minor to moderate blemishing. The platinum-topped gold clasp set with medium bluish green emeralds and near colorless diamonds; all decorative in quality. Fitted with safety chain. DIAMOND CLASP: Accompanied by report no. 17453653 stating the round to off-round pearls are natural saltwater. The pearls are more yellow-peach and less pink than indicated by the catalogue illustration. Fair to good luster, varying degrees of pink and green overtones and minor to heavy blemishing. The platinum clasp centered by a marquise-cut diamond weighing approximately 0.40 ct.; approximately I-J color, SI-I clarity. PEARL DROP: Accompanied by report 17453654 stating the 90 smaller pearls are natural saltwater. The pearl drop is cultured freshwater (not natural as stated in the catalogue). The 90 smaller pearls are ovoid and more yellow in color than indicated by the catalogue illustration; good luster with varying degrees of pink and green overtones. The baroque pearl drop presents pink and green overtones with wrinkling and noduling typical to the type as well as brownish discoloration to crevices on the reverse. The drop's platinum mounting set with 9 single-cut, rose-cut and old European diamonds, together weighing approximately 0.25 ct; approximately H-J color, SI-I clarity. Fitted with safety chain.
