Description

  • 93cm high, 164cm. wide, 85cm. deep; 3ft.¼in., 5ft.4in., 2ft.9in.
with a breccia marble top

Condition

In overall very good condition- a strong model which is most attractively carved. Colour of gilding slightly darker and much more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Very attractive detail to carving. There are some minor hairline construction cracks and cracks generally in the carved foliage on the frieze commensurate with age. Old very minor restorations to the foliate decoration on the frieze, as visible from photograph, which do not detract from the piece and can be left. The colour of the marble is slightly darker and much more attractive and it is veneered and not solid marble with some miniscule scratches and chips. Correct Measurements 95.5cm. high; 3ft.1in. 170cm. total width: 5ft.6½in. 86cm. deep; 2ft.9¼in.
