  • 9cm. high, 215cm. long, 62.5cm. deep; 3½in., 6ft. 8 3/4in., 2ft.in.
in four sections with a mirrored base

Condition

Attractive model in overall good condition. Gilding less greenish and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The mirror is showing minor signs of degrading in places and there are some minor chips along the border of the glass with a gap which could easily be restored. Some minor rubbing to gilding in places. Attractive model in overall good condition.

Catalogue Note

This unusual surtout de table with its stiff leaves on the frieze instead of the more usual vine leaves and grapes is smaller although identical to a surtout de table attributed to Pierre-Philippe Thomire, sold as lot 1080, Sotheby's, Baden-Baden, 21st October 1995, Vol. I.
