Description

Provenance

The Property of a Private Collector

Condition

An unusual model in overall good condition. Gilding less greenish and more golden and much more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The gilding is slightly worn in places and dirty with white polish residue and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. The gilding has been lost on the top of the bobèche of one but this does not detract from the piece. Very attractive detail to casting. The reverse of the backplate of one shows evidence of resoldering at the base but this is only visible when viewed from the back.
