Condition
There is a 2-in. fine haircrack running diagonally across the upper right-hand corner of the cover from midway along the upper side to a point about 1 in. below the corner on the right side; and the interior of the cover has been polished down along the edges to accomodate the hinged gold mount. The enamel of a small 1/4-in spot on a blue dress of a figure on the underside appears to have flaked and has been touched up, some of which is now rubbed; and there is a very minor 3/4 scratch to the enamel on one side of the box (visible in the online alternate image). Otherwise, the porcelain is in good condition.
