the lid, base and side surfaces undulating, painted with harbour views within flowers on vivid pink and translucent scarlet grounds, the interior rims enamelled in scarlet and white, unmarked

Condition
An unusual shape of box. The lid and base centre panels have been reset and the lid panel has scratching at the bottom. The scarlet enamel on the box has been extensively lacquered and in some places this is crizzling. The pink enamel on the base has also been lacquered.
