- inset with an oval sheep-shearing subject, split pearl frame, pale blue enamel ground within paillon and filigree borders, maker's mark R crowned incuse only, probably for Jean-George Rémond

Condition
Interesting technique with filigree and enamel border on lid. Some wear and scratching to enamel on base. Plaque restored between 6 and 8 o'clock. Several quite extensive patches of restoration and scrape on the side lid rim and sides.
