rectangular with cut corners, engine-turned within chased coloured gold foliate borders, divided into three compartments the central containing a watch movement with circular white enamel dial on a chased and matted gold ground, maker's mark H incuse, other marks illegible, rim with French departmental 3e titre and petite garantie for 1798-1809, with associated coloured gold key
