- marked on handles, four maker's mark S? possibly for Gabriel Sleath, London, 1713; four by S. Herbert & Co., London, 1754; and four with unregistered mark for Thomas Heming (Grimwade #3828), London, 1765
- lengths 4in. to 5 1/8 in.

comprising three sets of four matching dishes in the form of clam shells, shells dated 1754 and 1765 engraved with crests
Condition
1713 shells with deep splits at handles, one with multiple old messy repairs to underside of handle, most marks very rubbed; Herbert & Heming shells with a little wear to marks but overall good condition
