According to Gorham's archives, Loving Cup H/VJ was completed on 15 September 1905. The cup was raised in 65 hours by silversmith Nels N. Ha(a)rklou. It was then chased for an additional 52 hours by chaser Edward Zior Sr. The net factory price upon the cup's completion was $165.
