Hand-colored etching, engraving and aquatint, by R. Havell, on paper with the watermark J. Whatman 1836, with margins, in good condition apart from pale foxing in the sky, a stain on the verso showing through in the ground at center, faint mat stain, framed



 

Condition

The print is in good condition overall. Foxing is loosely scattered but visible in the upper portion of the plate. The brown stain on the verso has a diameter of 1 1/2" and shows through above the foot of the goose at left. Mat stain in the margins is minor.
