Condition
Very good overall condition. The shade with approximately 10-12 cracks to the glass scattered throughout. With minor surface soiling to the shade, particularly in the recessed areas around the lead lines, which would benefit from a sensitive cleaning. The rare sculptural "fern" base is exquisitely cast with very fine detail to the areas of high relief. The base has an exceptional rich russet brown and green patina with minor wear and light rubbing from age and gentle use. The socket and switch appear to be original. With period finial. The bakelite cord guide is slightly loose from the base. The shade with atypical mottled icy blue background glass, and a number of the yellow blooms are composed of rippled textured glass.
