Very good overall condition. The shade with approximately 4-6 cracks to the glass scattered throughout. Four glass tiles appear to have been replaced to one localized area on the lower shade border (blue and lime-green border tiles). This restoration was finely executed with virtually identical period glass and is only detectable by examination under an ultraviolet light source. With surface soiling to the shade, particularly in the recessed contours of the decorative bronze overlays, which would benefit from sensitive cleaning. The base with a rich brown patina and finely articulated applied decoration. The patina with light rubbing and minimal wear consistent with age and gentle use. The sockets and switches all appear to be original. One of the socket arms is slightly loose. The knop appears to have been re-secured in the past to the period finial. A strong example of the model with particularly saturated reds and nicely mottled background glass.
