Overall in very good condition. Each of the four hand-hammered glass panels are original with no visible condition issues. The copper surfaces throughout show some light surface scratches, gentle rubbing and surface soiling consistent with age and use. With the original chain and hand-wrought copper ceiling plate (the latter not visible in the catalogue illustration). With replaced socket. Recently rewired. The only other known examples of this rare model (a group of four lanterns) are in the collection of Crabtree Farms.
