Condition

Overall very good original condition. The wooden legs are later, as the original designed concrete legs for the piece were part of the original interior of the Maison du Mexique. The wooden elements of the bookcase with expected scratches, nicks, dings and some very small areas of discoloration. The metal components with some evidence of repainting, especially to the black painted dividers. The white/tan dividers with some evidence of discoloration from age. The doors with discoloration, slight warping and rubbing and surface dirt as seen in the catalogue illustration. Half of the sliding elements move with ease, and three are currently fixed in place (two blue doors and one red).
