carved in high relief, on later velvet covered base

Condition

In overall good condition with minor losses to the polychromy, minor fissures due to dryness and minor traces of old woodworm. Smaller section to the reverse of head probably cut, probably to prevent further worming. Wear to green velvet base. A charming piece.
