Description

  • 80cm. high
carved in full round, upper part of chalice and snake later

Condition

In overall good condition with minor losses to the carvings (a.o. hair, garments, base) and some losses to the polychromy. Three fingers to the Saint's proper right hand replaced. Parts to the chalice's lobed foot missing, the bowl (and carved snake, broken in two pieces) replaced. Few minor old restorations to the garments. Bearing old label "In bruikleen van (on loan from) Jhr. Mr. V. de Stuers".
