Condition
Very good condition, re-polished. It has been suggested that the piece could be in chestnut - although it exhibits the kind of straitions seen in fruitwood. Lovely colour. Old gouge to the from of the top. Repaired small wedge shaped section at the left rear side. The underside of one rear pad foothas small replaced section. Restorations and parts replaced to the drawer base and runners. Some old marks and scratches. The Chinese type motif on the front apron is very interesting.
