Description

  • 170cm. high, 97cm. wide, 43cm. deep; 5ft. 7in., 3ft.2in., 1ft. 5in.
each with a superstructure surmounted by a pierced foliate carved gallery and with two shelves and mirror back, below are a pair of ripple moulded glass panel doors, the sides with glass panels, on turned feet

Condition

Very good overall condition, slightly faded colour. One chiffonier has had many repaired breaks to the top gallery and has a few minor losses to this gallery. The other chiffonier has some damage to the front edge of the top above the glazed doors. There is a crack to the ripple moulding in this area and a small loss. Both the chiffoniers have filled in sections behind the supports to the shelves on the superstructure suggesting that these shelves had galleries to the sides originally.
