with four lights, decorated throughout with applied Neo-Classical motifs, traces of original oil fittings with the urn reserve now lacking and replaced with a pineapple finial
Condition
By repute this chandelier came Lough Cutra Castle, Conamara, Ireland - it came into the vendors possesion about forty years ago. It is important to note that the suspension chains are now shorter in length than in the catalogue illustration. Good overall condition with only a few minor signs of wear to the gilding. The later pineapple is bent. The electric sockets were slightly bent. There is minor traces of oxidisation. The resevoir, socle and all the tubular arms for the original oil workings have been removed. Will require re-wiring.
