Description

with button back leather upholstery, the reclining back above a padded seat with a sliding and ratchet action footrest, the reeded turned tapering legs headed by paterae and ending in brass cappings and castors

Condition

Good overall condition. The later leather upholstery is in very good, patinated condition. The base of the upright to back (where it is hinged) on one side has some chips and minor repaired breaks. The reclining mechanism is stiff and would benefit from attention from a furniture restorer. Many minor old marks and scratches throughout the frame. 112cm. high, 70cm. wide, 86cm. deep. seat height - 41cm.
