the first with ovolo and running laurel borders, lower body chased with leaves against a matted ground, strap handles, marked on base rim for Vincenzo Ruzzoli, Ancona, circa 1815, the neck with later Venic contrl marks; the second pair applied at neck with foliage and flowerheads, the lower body chased with acanthus, modeled swan form handles, the covers chased with fish scales, base rims inscribed "Aless T Petrettini 1852", marked on body, rim and base rim for Tommaso Panizza, Milan, circa 1850
