Description
- height 38 3/4 in.; width 65 1/4 in.; depth 32 in.
- 97 cm; 165.5 cm; 81.5 cm
decorated on three sides with lacquer, with curved fall front opening to reveal a red decorated interior witih three open compartments the lower section with four drawers flanking an opening fitted with a secret compartment, above two small drawers on a frieze drawer flanked by three drawers on four front cabriole legs and four back straight legs. Redecorated.
Condition
Losses, lifting, cracks and craquelure to the lacquered surfaces, especially to the top and side of the upper section. Traces of old worm to the redecorated fitted interior of the upper section. Some losses to the back right side of the upper section. Further minor losses, cracks and craquelure to the lower section. Chips to the right apron. Old worm, with recent restoration to a foot. In otherwise sound condition.
