Condition

Color is lighter, and less dense than in catalogue illustration with lovely fresh greens and roses. Finely woven dove-tailed tapestry weave. Scattered small rewoven areas, generally in dark brown ground probably due to oxidation in these areas, very well executed. A few small tears that are in need of repair, not extensive. Scattered spot stains---will enhance with cleaning. Cloth tape sewn to the reverse of all four edges. Supple handle and with a bit of attention will be in good, usable condition. Very good quality weaving.
