Condition
Oxidized dark stitching in areas with some exposed foundation. One approximately 5in. by 2in. loss to one side, not very visible in catalogue illustration. Later faded restoration and some tinting to oxidized dark brown areas. Some further losses and moth damage to areas of other color, some with restitching and further tinting. Two approximately 20 inch by 7 inch restitched panels in border and in corner. Watermarks and stains of various sizes and colors. One approximately 2 feet by 2 feet irregularly-shaped stain particularly visible in border, recommend cleaning. One approximately 1 foot by 1 foot dark stain with small hole in one corner of field, possible water damage. Backed with old padding and fabric, now fraying and falling apart in areas and recommend replacing. Sound fabric and condition, will enhance with careful restoration and cleaning. Attractive oversize floral design and soft color palette in borders.
