in Empire manner, stamped COLLINSON & LOCK LONDON 3971, with applied gilt-metal mounts and a drawer



The firm of Collinson & Lock was established in London in the third quarter of the nineteenth century and their rapid rise to success was marked by their move in 1871 to extensive new premises in St. Bride Street. In 1897, the firm was taken over by Gillows.
