Pile generally good 1/6 inch with areas of foldwear and wear near the center low to knotheads and foundation with some scattered repiling in upper third of field. Original selvages with some looses, fraying and later overcasting; repiling to left edge in areas approximately 10 x 2 inches and 3 x 2 inches; smaller scattered repiled areas on the right edge. Lower end with original 1/4 inch flatwoven end finish intact with very minor fraying near the center. Upper end with partial original flatweave and some repiling in outer end guard border. Supple handles, sound fabric and condition.
