Pile generally good 1/5 inch overall with slight oxidation to light madder where now 1/6 inch. Scattered spot stains and dirt matted wool---will enhance with cleaning. Few small scattered rewoven areas with brighter red wool, so quite visible, largest is 4 x 3 inches in the lower right corner of the field. Two left corners repiled in lighter blue approx. 2 x 2 inches. also a 1 x 1 inch similarly repiled spot on lower end edge. Original white cotton selvages and flatwoven ends and fringes. Very supple handle, soft wool, good overall condition.
