Description

the center with a standing bodhisattva standing upon a lotus petal base, flanked by two acolytes supported by elephants, against a large mandorla with apsaras and Buddha, upon a rectangular base, with traces of black and red pigment

Condition

The tip of the mandorla has chipped, as have the tips of the two smaller mandorlas. The tip of the bodhisattva's left hand has chipped. The surface has other minor surface chips and nibbles, which may all be original to the carving to create a sense of antiquity. In otherwise good condition.
