with a U-shaped crestrail with a paneled S-curve splat containing a reticulated qilin, flowers among vases and antique objects and a small dragon, the near supports with long foliate flange brackets, the seat framed with a gallery of seven panels of carved flowers and foliate scrolls, on cabriole legs ending in animal claw feet, resting on a box stretcher with shaped aprons and hoof feet, the crestrail and arms reinforced with metal brackets
