Description

the rectangular top frame enclosing a panel above slightly splayed corner posts, the pair of single panel doors opening to reveal a shelf, all above a plain straight apron with short spandrels between the squared legs, mounted with baitong lockplates, pulls and hinges

Acquired from the Drummond Brothers, 1951.

Condition

The back panel is made of pine. Hinges have been replaced. The dust board and transverse braces split. The brass door plate perhaps a later replacement. There is some staining to the top. Good patina throughout.
