Description

the rectangular top with hardcane seat and molded edge over a recessed waist, underside with two transverse stretchers, all above four slightly tapering legs of square section, joined by humpback stretchers, terminating in hoof feet, the legs and apron with finely beaded edge

Condition

The hardcane seat is a later replacement for a soft cane seat. One of the legs replaced. With water stains on the feet. The wood is a little dry and requires polishing. There are some minor losses to the inner frame as well as the inner legs and lower frame. The stretchers may have been later replaced. In otherwise good condition.
