Description

the rectangular top carved with molded edge above a plain apron, the rounded, slightly splayed legs each flanked by curved short flanges below the apron, joined by double cylindrical end stretchers

Provenance

Acquired from the Drummond Brothers, 1951.

Condition

The top with some minor burn marks and stains with some minor shrinkage; with a gap where it joins the frame, minor splits to one long board on top. Joinery is loose and will need to be reglued. Underside with black paint. The feet are worn, and there is some stress to the apron.
