Description

cast standing four-square, the front legs holding down a long writhing serpent, the hinged head with large bulging eyes and mouth baring sharp teeth, details in gilt 

Condition

The incense burner is in very good condition with the exception of small casting flaws (teeth at left side) and minor pitting, and rubbing to the patination.
