deeply carved with a continuous scene of a scholar seated at a table with writing implements and a ding, with two female attendants framed by pine trees and rocky outcrops

Acquired in Paris, 1950.

With the exception of several hairline age-cracks extending from the foot and rim (the longest circa 9cm), the present piece is in very good condition.
