Description

finely carved with legs and tail tucked beneath its body, the head with incised mane turned to the left, the stone of greyish-celadon tone with traces of caramel skin

Acquired in Paris, 1962.

Condition

With the exception of very minor nibbles to the edges of the underside of the carving and very light overall scratches to the surface, the present piece is in very good condition.
