Catalogue Note

Ndidi Ekubia is one of London's most inspirational silversmiths who works in a contemporary manner using traditional silversmithing techniques of hand raising. This involves hammering over a series of stakes to stretch and push the metal to its limits creating forms that have a unique fluid vitality. Ndidi has a distinctive rhythmic style and is excited by the sensual and rich forms that can be created in metal. She fervently hopes that her nature is reflected through her work.
