- of adjustable dimensions, approx. 250cm high as illustrated;
- 8ft 2 1/2 in.
manufactured by Sormani s.p.a., marble, perspex and chromium plated metal, with three spherical light fittings supported by two arched rods
Condition
A rare lamp of good overall appearance. The marble supports with nicks and scratches in places, consistent with material. One support with a 4cm. by 1cm. nick to one edge on arch just above where the base rests on the floor. The metal fittings to the shades slightly tarnished. Each arch composed of three separate sections, joined to form a continuous arch. Piece disassembles for shipping. In the exhibition it is displayed with a width of circa 274cm. (between marble plinths) and a height of circa 255cm.; but this can be adjusted by the marble plinth. This lamp is not tested or guaranteed for electricity. A fabulous architectural light installation. Ready for display.
