- each incised 'Jean Besnard' , one mark overpainted
- each approx. 65cm high;
- 2ft 1 1/2 in.
glazed ceramic with an 'orange peel' glaze

Condition
A decorative set of good overall appearance. Minor old marks, chips and scratches consistent with age and use. Each with a later bracket to allow hanging. One example (the example with the overpainted mark and enlarged in the catalogue) has been cracked and restored in lower half. Some chipping to top edges in places and further losses to areas of main bodies. Some colour variation between the group of three. Textures vary due to hand made nature of lot. Not tested or guaranteed for electricity and with no light fittings. A striking group.
