Condition

A good example in good overall condition. One half of the javelin is detached. Overall the surface is slightly dirty. Some wear to colour on shoes. Javelin now discoloured or with traces of original colouring. Face and fingers in excellent condition. Figure slightly loose on base. Minor scratches to base. An honest example in untouched condition from a private collection. Please note that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, ivory cannot be imported into the United States. Your attention is drawn to the Endangered Species section in the Buying at Auction guide on page 67 of the printed catalogue.
